Social and Environmental Responsibility
The very nature of our business is the antithesis of the fast-paced disposable fashion industry. That is why we love vintage clothing, for it's timeless quality, both in function and style. With the fashion industry being the 3rd most polluting industry in the world, we believe recycling is the most sustainable way. We also value the transparency inherent in handmade goods and supporting smaller economies to strengthen a market where craftspeople can make a decent living. All of our packaging materials are made from recycled materials and are recyclable.
We do our best to indicate sizing to the best of our ability. Most vintage clothing has different sizing than usual. So, we will include the estimated size to best fit the current time. We also always include measurements (laying the garment flat.) The bust is measured from underarm to underarm, waist is at the natural waist and the length is from the center of the garment to the bottom(unless otherwise noted.) The best way to use these measurements is to find a similar item from your closet, one that fits you well and compare it's measurements(laying flat) against the measurements provided.Being a small company, we would like to minimize returns as much as possible. So please, take the time to look over the measurements and feel free to call Mariah at (720) 771-9123 with any questions.
The bottom measurement provided in the chart below is the inside circumference and the most accurate measurement to ensure a good fit. You can use a tape measure (or a length of string that you will then compare to a tape measure) to determine the circumference. Place the string or tape around your head just above your ear, across the mid-forehead, completely circling your head. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly. Basically you need to measure your head with the tightness and placement of how you want the hat to fit. If your measurement falls between sizes, choose the next largest size.
